Firestarter

st. catherine
There is nothing quite like
making briny love
to holy fire
and falling
deeply into one’s own
molten core
screaming yes
yes
the plunge
and firewalk
of your starring parts
melting in ecstasy
raw to the touch
and numinous tongues
of angels
who sing
heated hymns
and
classic torch songs
on your behalf
to bring you wholly
to life
as you truly are
a soul dancing
an arsonist jig
among so much
tinder
and ash.
