Mount

To sire
a riptide,
the roseblood moon,
fully engorged,
sank lower
and lower,
its binding navel
grazing the lattice mouth
and lacy tease
of a sea
forever beckoning
softly creased light
to charge
and mount.

    • A most excellent 80s reference. I LOVE Cyndi Lauper. Wow, you saw Firestarter with Drew Barryore, and now the Cyndi Lauper Reference, what have you done with Erroneous, and who exactly are you?

      • Well, I did have to look up the time after time song and I thought it was sung by someone else, haha. And people made me watch fire starter because the were being smart asses and I played along.
Once at a party I was at a couple of years after “the incident” the played Carrie Underwood before he cheats on repeat. 🙄
